It is a single-player 3D game. Players can choose from a male or female waterbender or earthbender. There were three chapters to the game that involved doing small tasks, solving puzzles, learning new bending moves, and eventually defeating the Fire Nation leader in your area of the Earth Kingdom.



Escape from the Spirit World - Although this is a game, it consists of stories and plot details considered canonical. The game explains the events between the end of Book Two and the launch of Book Three.

Toph and the gang need to reach Ba Sing Se by crossing the dreaded Serpent's Pass. However, their journey is disturbed by the enraged sea serpent that releases ear-splitting cries of such a force that shake the rock walls, subsequently destroying the pass.
